Soft Wash Services
Our Soft Wash Process
When we perform a soft wash, we start by applying a custom blend of biodegradable cleaners and mildewcides to the target area. This solution does the heavy lifting – breaking down dirt and killing mildew and algae spores.
We allow it to dwell for the proper time to ensure deep penetration. Then, we rinse everything with a low-pressure wash (imagine a spray just a bit stronger than a garden hose). The result is a beautifully clean surface without any of the harsh force.
Soft washing not only cleans what you can see, but also sanitizes the surface, meaning regrowth of mold and algae will take longer compared to just blasting the top layer off.
What Can We Soft Wash?
We typically use soft washing for surfaces such as:
Roofs: Asphalt shingles, cedar shakes, and tile roofs all benefit from soft washing. It cleans off those black streaks and moss without the risk of shingle damage or water intrusion that high pressure could cause.
Home Exteriors: Soft wash is perfect for vinyl siding, painted wood, stucco, Dryvit, and other delicate siding materials. Your home will get a thorough clean with zero risk of the paint chipping or siding denting that improper high-pressure use might lead to.
Screens and Enclosures: For screened-in porches or pool enclosures, soft washing removes dirt and algae gently, protecting screens and framework.
Wood Fences and Decks: In some cases, an aged wood surface might be too fragile for even moderate pressure. Soft washing with the right detergents can lift grime safely without roughing up the wood.
Why Choose Soft Washing?
Damage-Free Cleaning: No risk of etching surfaces, blasting off paint, or forcing water where it shouldn’t go. Soft washing is gentle on your property.
Long-Lasting Results: By neutralizing the algae and mildew growth, the clean stays longer. You won’t see those black streaks or green patches returning in a few weeks; they’ve been treated at the source.
Eco-Friendly: Our solutions are environmentally safe and break down naturally. Plus, using lower pressure means using less water overall in many cases.
Beautiful Outcome: Your surfaces will not only be clean, but also undamaged and looking like they should. Roofs will be their proper color, siding bright and refreshed – all with a process that’s minimally invasive.
